Florida International University (FIU) is a public research university located in Miami, Florida, and one of the largest universities in the United States, enrolling more than 54,000 students across undergraduate and graduate programs. FIU offers more than 200 programs of study in fields including business, engineering, law, education, the arts, and health sciences, and welcomes more than 4,600 international students from over 120 countries. The Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) supports F-1 and J-1 visa students through I-20 processing, immigration advising, orientation, and ongoing visa compliance throughout their enrollment.
